Chemical splashes, dust, and debris can happen in an instant — and the eyes are especially vulnerable. Without immediate access to an emergency eyebath, a simple accident could result in permanent damage or even loss of sight.
With so many options available in the marketplace, we recommend that the eyebath you install has a reliable and constant source of water to run for the required 15 minutes.
Simple eyewash bottle stations just won’t do that as they only provide only a small volume of fluid (usually 500ml) which is often insufficient for full decontamination. The bottles are a one-time use and will need replacing after each activation
Having a dedicated emergency eyebath ensures:
- A continuous flow of water (minimum 15 minutes, as per standards)
- Always ready for use — no risk of bottles being missing, expired, or misplaced
- Meets H&S standards (ANSI Z358.1 and BS EN 15154)
- Reduces risk of long-term eye damage by flushing contaminants thoroughly
- Peace of mind for your workforce and management

Don’t take chances with eye safety — make sure your workplace is prepared.
