The PS1 portable self-contained safety shower comes without an eye-wash station and the PS1-E includes an eye-wash. Both units are ideal as a temporary mobile unit where a quick safety solution is needed on site. This 250 litre capacity unit is easily manoeuvred into place with the attached stainless trolley. The unit comes with a polypropylene lined cylinder and stainless steel shower pipework.
Optional extras for the shower include insulate and trace-heated jackets. The insulated jacket can be provided with additional built in heating to guarantee the stored water does not freeze in severe weather conditions. The insulated jackets are manufactured using heavy duty UV stable PVC outer cloth, 50mm thickness insulation infill incorporating temperature rated silicone coated glass cloth on the inner face.
Where the jackets have built in heating, a frost protection self regulating heating cable system is installed to the inner face of the insulation jacket to compensate for heat loss and prevent the onset of freezing. This can be provided to suit both 240v and 110v power supplies. An inline thermostat limits the temperature to avoid any potential overheating.
An ATEX approved version is available, again in both voltage options.
